UN wants Guantanamo Bay Prison Closed

The UN wants the U.S to close Guantanammo Bay, prison and avoid using secret detention facilities in the war on terror

Some bloggers are saying things like: Did you ever think you'd see the day when the United Nations had to admonish the United States on torture?

These bloggers act like this is the first time the U.S has violated Human Rights. The UN did not exist during U.S slavery so it could not admonish this country. It also did not exist when we stoll the land from the Natives. It also did not exist during most of our long history of Jim Crow and when it was formed during that era it was too weak. So finally our country is being admonished for Humane Rights abuses and torture. The United States has long history of humane rights abuses.
