It's amazing how so many news sources are all over Bush's "addressing" the race issue.
The irony? The obvious wallowing in privilege? - Making that speech with a statue of Andrew Jackson in the background.
When Jackson ran for president, part of his platform was his documented hatred and
killing of blacks and indians and how his administration would "restore order" and
put "them" in their place. Once again, the shrub's spin cycle is off.
