We must never forget the horrible tragedy that occurred 10 years ago today in Jasper, Texas:

When three white men used a chain to tie James Byrd Jr.'s ankles to a truck's rear bumper, him for 3.08 miles.

James Byrd, Jr. was a Black man murdered in 1998 by Shawn Berry, Lawrence Brewer and John King in Jasper, Texas, just for being black
