TBLJ will now have to spend some time watching the Today show because NBC has offered Meredith Vieira, the job of replacing Katie Couric. Vieira is currently one of the host on the View. NBC did not waste any time in asking Vieira, they asked her the day after Couric said she was leaving the Today show.
BTW Vieira was my favorite host on the View.
