The US does not Answer to Anyone

The United States feels like it does not have to answer to anyone especially the world. Have we become the biggest human rights violators (maybe we always have been) but we at least have a court system that is supposed to be fair. Look at the case of Maher Arar according to the Toronto Star
A U.S. federal court has dismissed a lawsuit against the Bush administration brought by Ottawa engineer Maher Arar, essentially giving Washington the green light to continue its practice of sending terrorist suspects to third countries where they could be tortured.
Also as reported earlier this week the UN has stated that the U.S needs to close Guantanamo Bay prison now. I'm sure you can guess how the U.S responded
