A few months ago I had two people (1 man and 1 woman) tell me that they did not believe Roe v Wade was in jeopardy. Both of these people are prochoice. The woman rather stupidly believed this and voted for Bush the man voted for Kerry. I remember the woman saying that she just believed that women would always be able to have abortions. She was obviously, not recognizing her own privledge and yes stereotypically she was blond and white.
South Dakota has just past a bill that is a direct challenge to Roe v Wade. The law makers in South Dakota know that they are in violation on Roe v Wade and have set this up to challenge it. Under this law the only exception is if the mother is going to die. There is no exception to the physical, or mental health of the mother. There is also no exception in the case of rape or incest. These law is illegal.
WAKE UP PEOPLE guess what Georgia is next on the list.
