I thought the GOP was trying to attract more people of color especially blacks. After Katrina, Rita and now Bill Bennett that may be difficult. Bennett, former Secretary of Education believes

if you wanted to reduce crime ...if that were your sole purpose, you could abort every black baby in this country, and your crime rate would go down." Bennett conceded that aborting all African-American babies "would be an impossible, ridiculous, and morally reprehensible thing to do," then added again, "but the crime rate would go down."

Didn't Bush say that racism was in the past? This man is talking about killing black people. He is also saying that black people are more inclined to be criminals than white people. This is ridiculous and racist. Did he forget about all of the crimes, especially white collar crimes that are commited by whites.
