My partner and I spent the weekend in Brooklyn, New York in the Park Slope area. It was nice to be in New York. My partner lived there about 6 years ago and has three very close friends that live in that area and they all just had babies with their partners. Two couples had their babies through adoption, and the other couple had theirs through a sperm donor.
It was so wonderful to be somewhere and see lots of families with two Mommies. It was also great to see tons of diversity and plenty of public transportation. I fell in love with the city and I want to live there and I think we can do it. We just first have to finish graduate school and when I set my mind to something I usually get it.
